I'll be up your way from March 2nd-5th. Malcolm is showing me a few beats. Shame I won't be with your good self but maybe next time- unless it's in the bar after of course!

By way of feedback I should say that the Mash Tun in Aberlour was very good. Excellent hosts, good food, good company and drinks, and the room very comfortable. A view of the Spey didn't go a miss either.

If anyone is looking for some first class accommodation on Speyside then I can highly recommend Craggonmore House, as recommended to me by WG - www.cragganmore-house.com/Some pictures of my bedroom: What a bed!! The 'turrett' - arm chairs and tv for relaxing in. Helen, the owner, will bring freshly made tea and buscuits, and you can even get your shirts pressed for the following days fishing ;D Excellent breakfast and a warm welcome all through your stay. Convienient for most beats on the Spey

I have attached a link to Speyburn House in Archiestown, a perfect setting for any visitors to the Mid-Spey area. 5 minutes from Wester Elchies/ Carron/ Laggan and maybe 10 from Knockando. The B&B is run by Lesley Calzetti and I assure you of a very warm welcome, with matchless quality throughout. Having seen the house, I have to say that in my view there is no better B&B in Speyside. You will not be disappointed. www.calzetti.com/bedandbreakfastinscotland.html
