Freaky with snow in Perth all morning today and guess who has a ticket for Islamouth this Saturday.... River rising after last nights rain.....just hope this lot freezes or my day will be a write off... suppose harling may be a possibility if the water isn't too dirty but who wants to sit on a boat all day with the -9 temps forecast for the weekend. Sorry, no question to pose today, just venting spleen.

Owen,
Islamouth last Saturday looked like it a loch instead of a river. You will probably do alright with a wee mepps in one of the fields ;D.
Like you i will be praying it drops and we get a chance to get out. Looks like a long shot at the minute.
Cheers

If the fishing IS really that bad, you could always find some local spot to shelter in.... ....or retire to the pub...... .....just make sure their patio heaters are working Mike
