The Conwy has risen 3' and is still rising, with more heavy rain forecast later today. Only question is, will I be night fishing for sea trout or daytime fishing for salmon at the weekend?

Aye its hard. We want rain over the Whiteadder to bring fish in. Also we want no rain over Tweed to hold fish back in the lower beats. Its hard knowing what to wish for. In fact somthing like the old farmer who wanted sunshine in his hay field and heavy showers on his turnip field. There is no pleasing everyone. The edge of that rain might just catch us though.

Looks like the Border Esk and Annan have had good rises. A friend is on the Border Esk next week, he might just hit it right.

Would like to see a big rise on the Dee, and a few other rivers up there
The Tynes have been up for a few weeks now, hopefully it will continue as the fishing has been pretty good

Remarkably the river hasn't risen today at Inverkeithny as yet, but I think it will start rising soon and probably never stop.
