Remarkably the river hasn't risen today at Inverkeithny as yet, but I think it will start rising soon and probably never stop. Unremarkably the river is now running at 3 feet of mud this morning. Glad I haven't booked a day at Dunlugas.

Just back from an optimistic visit tae Dunlugas - still rising and unfishable - canna hit it good every day oot . On a positive note, as long as we dinna get more rain ower the weekend it should be good for next week. Never mind Dunlugas, the whole river will be unfishable the day. Ross.

As you are saying Ross if no more over the weekend it should be top conditions for the start of the week. Here's hoping anyway.

Chucking it down here gentlemen - first real bit of rain for a guid wee whiley - should have a noticeable effect on the Tay / Esk catchments. Bring it on ! STip Bit of water as predicted. Fine day here (just now) - with settled conditions for the remainder of today the Esk's should be fining and clearing nicely by this evening ...... as, hopefully, it will be elsewhere. Stick a tape in for the double Corrie and BB eviction - you know it makes sense

We are getting good rain fall in the Angus area at the moment. This is expected to continue through the night and into mid morning. Hopefully this will freshen things up for the weekend.
Cheers
