If anyone is interested in inexpensive wader studs let me know. A trawl of the internet found them available cheaply if purchased in large quantities.
They are 1/2" 10guage self tapping hex head screws, which appear to be the same as sold everywhere as wading studs.

I'll take 30 please. Tweedcast nb There is possibly a side market for these - if enough fishers pool their broken rod sections as blow pipes the howker minority at Peebles could be identified next year with wader studs. Might take more than 400 though unless they are skaggit type studs! Only 59 minutes to go to the grayling season! TC

Interesting thought TC but how would you get past all the lead core lines and large "flies" without getting snagged?
