Now that the site has been revised is there no way of posting pics other than through third party servers?
I utterly refuse to use them for two reasons:
1. I want to keep high resolution .tiff files, and these take too long to download on such picture storage files. To alter the size of all my pics is not in my interests and to do so on a piecemeal basis also makes a chore of it.
2. It should no longer be necessary: other sites, such as the US speypages site, pics can be posted direct.
Being an uneducated country bumpkin I may well have missed something...if I have then please direct me.
Many thanks.

Meanwhile if any of the members know a shortcut any advice would be much appreciated

Using my 10Mp camera, a high def .jpg picture has a file size of 1.89MB reducing this to 800 x 600 pixels for presentation on the forum, the file size is reduced to 60KB Converting the original 1.89MB .jpg file to .tiff format results in a file size of 9.29MB Although you can upload attachments directly from your PC into a forum post, there are 2 limiting factors; 1/ you can only add a max. of 3 attachments per post & 2/ the max. file size that can be uploaded (per attachment) is 1MB - so neither the original .jpg and certainly not the .tiff files can be directly uploaded as an attachment to a post on the forum (in its present configuration). I would be interested in member's experience with the fastest upload method for images to the forum. The latest Photobucket interface update is useless on my fastest Mac A5 processor running OSX Mavericks - fails to load images 50% of the time and posting becomes a mess. The link forces a thumbnail link (self-marketing) and images are not uploaded full rez.
One great feature of photo bucket is to upload no need to log in they allow you to email images direct to your album bank.
Any experience with any of the cloud based upload providers ? i.e. always synced with your device.
