I see from the Speypages that the Carron boys were in the medals. No sign of the Weegie, possible Celtic's lashing from the Dingwall men put him off his stroke. www.speypages.com/speyclave/showthread.php?t=34994&page=19MEN Gordon Armstrong 579' (Carron)Gerard Downey 563 (Carron)Ruairi Costello 558 (Carron)

193 yards - things have come on a pace Total of four casts, the winds were bad. I see now the Americans are claiming Gordon World Champion, I suppose it will be the World Series.

Willie, who is the weegie to whom you refer? Just out of interest and I am assuming it is not Gary Scott who hails from somewhere in Englands green and pleasant land and who, if anything , would have been given an almighty boost by that Highland Rangers hammering the Celtic because Celtic supporter I can assure you he aint. Nails his colours firmly to the flagpole at Castle Grayskull.

What a difference a year makes. Gordon Armstrong World Champion at the Spey O Rama 15 foot world championships in Sanfrancisco. Gerard Downey second place, and Ruairi Costello third place. This is by far the hardest competition in the world, consisting of 4 disciplines trying to achieve maximum distance. 1. Right hand Spey 2. Left hand Spey 3.Right hand Snake roll 4.Left hand Snake roll 3 times winner Gordon Armstrong Top 3 from Carron, Gerard Downey,Ruairi Costello and Gordon Armstrong. Carron boys in good spirits Simon Gawesworth dresses up for the party, he came as Raffa Benitez Simon Gawesworth and Mark Chalmers, boozing buddies qualifying scores Scores in the final, the scores dropped off considerably due to strong headwinds On a more serious note, Simon Gawesworth was making a new video on the Snake Roll casts, he enlisted Mark Chalmers to be is student, here is the end result. James Chalmers
