Just seen the figures for opening night on the Namse. Out of 23, I think, fish recorded 7 were 10kg or over, with the biggest fish weighing 21 kg (46.2 lb in angler speak). The Bjora tributary opened on 15 May and has produced a fish of 19.4 kg. Full details and some photos at: www.flyshop.no/cust/Namsen/

Most were caught on a Namsen Wobbler, is it a good fly? ;D

Yes, lots of body material needed if tying one of those beasties! The Gaula site reported 24 fish, 18.1 kg, 13.9 kg, 12.8 kg the largest. The last two were reported as fly caught.
