splashy... welcome to the forum.
When you get the keys for the boats from the newsagents there will be a map with them which outlines the main drifts.
As for flys; a salmon fly on the tail (cascade/allysshrimp etc) and a loch ordi on the dropper. Try different variations though as you never know what will work.
It is useful to have an outboard as there is a large area to cover and if the wind is blowing (which is what you want) then it can be hard work with just the oars.
Let us know how you get on.

Cheers Iam taking an outboard with me but it is the hotels boat? Is it a good drifting boat? I'm sure the boat will be fine. Have you been to Loch Brora before? Most folks tend to stick to the top part of the loch with an occasional foray into the middle part. I haven't seen many folks go into the lower part but you do get fish there. I would be careful of a couple of things: the weed beds, and also of submerged rocks especially if you're going into the middle part of the loch. hf
