Here is a batch of flies, i tied up for the coming season. for a guy who asked e to tie them for is son, as a Xmas pressie. The singles, and secret weapons. And the tubes. Hope you like them, Dai.

Cracking flies Dai, they'd do well on the Conwy for sea trout and salmon.

Ah Dai you're on here as well,just saw some pictures of your "sewin specials" on another site.The question I have lads is do we use those singles with the wee trebles at the back on our rivers in Scotland?Do I need to tie some up?

hi there again getting the tying gear out at weekend can anyone think of a dressing that can be fished for sea trout and salmon in a big dirty water.had a few decent brown trout and a jack pike on a tube dressed gold body and brown bucktail had 1 salmon only 5lb on the ice maiden never had a sea trout have thought about those night lights that are supposed to be fantastic for through the night but never had a fish on them but you can see them in a really dirty water does anyone else suffer from this maddness

Up on the top of this page, the second picture down you will see some black & yellow tubes. Thats what I would fish in high coloured water.

thanks for the advice i will tie up a few and try them i have fished a few rivers and can worm,and spin if i have to i have caught them more or less at my feet but there are a couple of bits i would love to take one on the fly iv'e seen them move and fish the fly through them it looks and feels perfect but nothing takes catch the bottom a few times so am deep enough tried sink tip,floater,inter,wet cell 2 will let you know how i get on with black,yellow thanks again
