Just finished watching this great film makes you believe that there is hope for the future, if only all governments where as pro active as the Russians and hats off to Peter Power for having the forethought to generate the "Atlantic Salmon Reserve" If you have not seen this great film, and anyone who enjoys salmon fishing should (there are some interesting points raised over catch and release) you can get a free copy of it by goggling - home for salmon film and following the instructions. Some of the footage is fantastic and as for the fish............ Well I will have to start saving and pray for a lottery win. Happy watching.

Just got my DVD in the post today. The most amazing salmon DVD, river ever. I will be buying a euro million lotto ticket on Friday....... 90mil think I would buy a few weeks fishing there and take all the boys the fly tying part of the DVD is class. The guy ties the original temple dog, I spend ages trying to get the flies looking great and this guy seems to just throw the materials on and looking perfection...... A true fly tier! I have loads to learn yet!

The original TD is a nice looking fly Craig, you'd better get some made up!

Received that DVD last year and it is truly amazing footage and very well edited. Like Criag I will be sticking on a few quid to see if I can get over there to sample real salmon fishing
