I agree it was Sir David Murray that handed over that huge impending Tax bill. White on the other hand knows exactley what he is doing, and its not for the benefit of the club. He [White] borrowed millions from ticketus, on the strength of future season ticket sales over the next 4 seasons. Bet their feeling peed off now like everyone else, because if Mr White does allow the plug to be pulled and with it most of the debt, they will lose millions. The next stage is Rangers will of course write off this season, throwing all bad debts into their bad debt/account pit, take the hit and re-emerge as - New Rangers or ? with new backers, and perhaps starting from the lower leagues, will eventually start to get back up to the premier league. Might take 5-6 years, but thats my thinking of what could happen. There will be more following on from here, no doubt about that, as the game is deep in the mire at the moment and not many are debt free. Did I hear on the radio this morning that an English club filed for administration ?

A 10 point deduction still would leave thenm second in the leauge. Motherwell are on 42 --19 points adrift.

Malcolm my understanding if they are not saved by the administrators, they will not be in the league full stop. They will have to re-apply to get back in, which they will, but may have to do what Livingston did and started a couple of leagues or so below and work back up. Still a sorry state of affairs for a club as big as Rangers.

Looks like karma has come to bite them on their arse.... ;D.... I'd have to dispute anyone calling that club a great club regarding their signing policy in years gone by. Cheats have got what they deserve....

Nope...i'm loving their threadbare miserable existence at the moment. As are many others....who needs who! I'd say Rangers need Celtic more than Celtic need Rangers

If the wheels come off Scottish football,do you think Celtic will get 60000 every week to watch a couple of pub teams.I know it's good to have a bit of banter, but this is not good for the game here in Scotland

As a Forfar Athletic fan the current state of the SPL holds very little interest for me. However, I did find this rather funny.

Why did Livingston get relegated to the Third devission but Rangers may only loose ten points! I would like to see the debts stay with the club and they should pay up or fold easy. In the past I was stung like this and paid 10p in the pound is that fair! All of Rangers creditors must be making hard decissions whether they have to lay people off. So why should they or any other football club be to rob compies / suppliers and go into administration and loose all their debt!

Like yourself being a Buckie Thistle supporter the SPL holds no interest for me. Scottish football has been dying now for years and with RFC now going down the tubes its just another nail in the coffin. It did bring a smile to my face though

There's a couple of posters on this thread who aren't being honest with either themselves or others on this forum..i find that rather sad.. As for the death of Scottish football..what a load of b####ck's! I can remember when Scotland had a strong Aberdeen, Dundee Utd..etc that;s what will happen...more young Scots will get their chance with these clubs and the like and will be better off in the long run. Anyhow i don't think Rangers will be liquidized...i for one couldn't give a hoot either way...why would i want to see a club that cheated and who's' support sent bombs and bullets to a rival manager/players just because they come from a certain country and are employed by a certain club? Nah, i think Scotland would be better off without a club of such dignity..that's just my opinion of course and that's what i think....it's just the way i roll

Apart from supporting FA my 'other' team is the 'mighty' 'Tic. Infact, I would go as far as to say "I'm Celtic crazy, I'm Celtic daft and the Glasgow Celtic robbed me 'o the wee bit sense I had". ;D
