I hope Johnny's got his kicking boots on tonight, I think we might need him.
Anyway, should be an exciting/tense game.

Never been a rugby man meself but wish the lads the best of luck. To be honest, I'm looking forward to tomorrow's Grand Prix more, with Hamilton 2nd on the grid, if he can keep his head it will be a momentous day for British motor racing.

Not a classic game, but South Africa deserved to win..............and unfortunately Johnny didn't have his kicking boots on tonight.

The truth is that Johnny hasn't had his kicking boots on for some time as his kicking percentage at the start of the game was just 61%.
I have to say that I find it sad that England need to have an on form kicker to win a game of rugby, tonight's game was poor and more a game of rugby tennis unlike last night's playoff which was much better.
In this tournament despite playing as many games as anyone else, England have scored just 12 tries and very few of them from open back play, they were the only side to not score a point in a game and it was probably best for the game of rugby that they didn't win.
On the other hand South Africa didn't lose a game, scored more than twice the number of points that England did during the tournament, many of them tries from open back play and were worthy winners.

It was a tense game, probably boring for the neutral, but both teams played the same game. Sewin may have missed it but England, in open play did cross the SA line with the only decent back move of the game. A tight call was as usual given to the defending side.
Had it not been for Matfield and co's total line out dominance, the score would have been different.
I'm delighted with England's showing in this world cup and I have every confidence that the side will grow from their collective experience. How many other teams (apart from the new world champs of course) are now looking in better shape than they did 6 weeks ago?
England & Argentina.
The future is bright.

accept it england lost may i just say no sportsmen are heros as some papers have been calling certain england rugby players if they ran into a burning building to save lives or were putting their lives on the line for queen & country then they could be called a hero

I disagree with the hero bit though. International rugby demands a high degree of personal sacrifice, likely injury (body on the line etc) and when compared with other sports, relatively little reward.
