14 ok read the blurb....23??? i'd say that even my guesstimate is a tad generous having had a closer look at the fish beside the reel & handle...must be a' yon hebridean sea air eh? as an aside, it's nice to see such decent sized fish come off the wee lewis rivers. never ever had much more than a typical grilse off them meself!

I thought the fish was about 15lbs. Unless the single hander had a VERY long handle! The brown trout came from a loch that has had salmon smolt rearing cages in it for a very long time and it is where I caught my largest brown trout (5lbs).
