We're having a torrential rain storm of which I have never seen the lkke before. It's so heavy the gutters can't cope, the road outside resembles the South Esk, and its flattened most of the herbaceous flowers in the garden. If this doesn't put the rivers up, nothing will!! Where are you ? Near Bathgate in the Central belt. Rained all night and is still doing so!

Plenty of rain here in north Lancashire, all our rivers are getting a good flush out, and there is more to come.

I am starting to get frustrated by the lack of rain over here. I have been following the progress of the rain on the Met Office rainfall radar and it appears we are going to miss out again.

Heavy and persistent rain in Dundee area from 3am onwards - still raining. No real signs of a shift in levels on the South Esk as yet.

Finally there's some water in the upper Esks, how much gets to the bottom is another matter, see there's a few fish showing.
