In keeping with our philosophy of getting fit, looking feeling younger, this week ends trip was from Callander to Strathyre. Some pictures of the trip, that I hope you appreciate what I went through to bring these directly to you without the need to get bum numb and a feeling of overwhelming tiredness, unlike me! The starting point at the Meadows car park in Callander The road to Strathyre. Looking Back down loch Lubnaig. Linky: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loch_LubnaigObligatory Hielan Coo This ride was graded as an easy, level ride. Aye right!!, I wished I had brought the oxygen mask with me. The guy who penned it as: easy and level, clearly is a sadistic and warped individual. The wife can stick to her tasteless cereal bars, i'm having this!! View from where I was lying doon!! Falls of Lenny. Och well it was great to get out and about, and to see bits of Scotland you just wouldn't see sitting in a car doing 80 mph

You better watch all of that Kenny - man 'o your age. Last time I had any dealings with bikes the gears were of the Sturmey Archer 3 speed variety and you stuck a folded fag coupon (Kensitas best) between the brake blocks and the spokes to create a motor-bike noise.
Braw post - well done !

I'm full of admiration for your efforts and your photos of an area that I used to know extremely well are fabulous. Where next ? I'd recommend the cycle route round Loch Katrine if your @rse recovers sufficiently ! But take care and dinna go too fast !

Mel: Where Next!
Once I'm back from my annual holidays, will take in the Fort William to Loch Lochy route. Up Friday evening stay the weekend to recover, back Sunday.
Herbie: You'll notice I bought the wife a nice gel padded seat complete with Morris minor coil springs for her erse. Maybe I should get one for myself!
I have a few others I would like to do, if fishing doesn't get in the way!!

I doff my cap to you Kenny. Your enthusiasm for the bike is commendable sir, you are the perfect role model for people half your age. The pics are superb and I look forward to the next instalment.
