Laxford. Fished that pool and had a pile of sea trout in the past. The fish lie under the rock face half way down the pool on the left.

Well done chaps - I knew it would be easy for some. Here's another 2 pics. The first is the run into and under the bridge and the other is a view upstream.

I remember stopping at the bridge circa 1998 on a tour of the north west highlands to have a peek at the river below. Lovely. Where you on a similar tour Andy or fishing one of his Grace's rods for him?

Where you on a similar tour Andy or fishing one of his Grace's rods for him? Not fishing Rob - more of a bucket and spade kind of holiday. We were digging mainly out of Achmelvich beach, although we did have an exploratory burrow on both Clachtoll and Clashnessie beaches. Nothing much to report other than the tide goes out and comes in twice a day. Nevertheless, good to try out my new B&S set-up as purchased from the Lochinver paper shop. BTW - The River Inver looks like and interesting cast. Not really a 'moody sunset kind of guy but I thought these were 'nice' of Achmelvich bay.
