Don't laugh its rude! Part completed home made effort to carry 4 rods or more safely. Each rack has 80kg lift capacity and when clamped to my desk, I can lift the whole thing off the ground. In fact it maybe too strong for a car bonnet, but will see. Just the elastic bungee cord to add and that's it. That badge was just to take away the blandness of the bracket face. Comments welcome on betterment.

A very professional job. Does it not rely on a flat bonnet though? Difficult enough to put one "holder" on my car let alone two. If you have a big long straight and flat roof, problem solved! Rob

Rob I have a Nissan Navara Rob and it has a long flat bonnet! But yes it could be an issue with these small modern cars with more curves than Carol Vorderman!! Let you all know after the hi speed motorway trials

Very tidy work. Got a similar thing from a window installer. My car a Kia Sportage has a curved roof so only able to get one at a time fixed. Very strong and simple to use. Used it for many years going over fields etc. and no problems. Have to make sure the area being used is clean or it will not work. Bob

Yeh I always clean the surface and ensure its dry. Lots of people wet it too much and it can slide ridiculously easy. I just smear a little spit around the rubber and usually stays on like a limpet. But yet to try this double unit as yet Bob. Keep you all posted if its a goer or not.
