Gents,
I remember reading a poem on here (a fair while ago) about opening day on the Tay. Ive had a good look through some old posts of where I thought it might be, but cant seem to find it. Can anyone point me in the direction of where to find it, or remember who posted it?
Thanks in advance,
Regards
Callum

Callum I have a copy somewhere and will dig it out and post on here. It was penned by a friend of mine - Alistair Girvan who lost his battle to live a year or so ago.
I'm sure he would be pleased at someone remembering his poem.

Thanks for the replies gents, appreciated.
Id like to get a copy printed and framed, as it was a cracking wee poem about a river that's close to my heart. Opening day on the Tay is a special day.
Sorry to hear that Kenny, so a big thanks to Alistair up there from me
