Indeed.
Having a 7 year old (almost) provides lots of entertainment - particularly at this time of year. Life recently appears to have been a never ending roller coaster of school party's and visits to various incarnations of the geezer known as 'Santa'.
Whomever invented the phenomenon of 'Elf on a Shelf' needs shooting.
Life's good.
A very merry Christmas to all.

Certainly a time to reflect and consider those less fortunate than others - I'm thinking about Tweed fisher's here.
That's the 'kilted sasssssages wrapped and ready for tomorrow.
Season's greetings to all.

Ah, dear mother.. the salmon fishing book is lovely, but ... Although it might come in handy on the Dee. The opposition can be rather tiresome.

Decent looking 'sling' there John. How many pheasant have you taken out so far ?
I fashioned my daughter a 'classic' from a forked branch. Showed her how to make 'V' pellets from folding auld Kensitas fag coupons. Just looped together some heavy duty elastic bands. Safe to use indoors. Her mither and Upsy Daisy tend to be popular targets just now. Braw.
