By Andrew Graham-Stewart, published 2005. 268 page Hardback with many colour photos. This is a superb book for those who wish to fish the rivers of the North. Not a "how-to" book but rather a book discussing the histories, traditions, characteristics, catch returns and beats on about 50 rivers. Includes rivers of Lewis, Harris and North and South Uist.

Not quite a classic but a very good book all the same. I like AGS writing style and look forward to more of the same. I believe a book on other geographical areas is in the pipeline.

I was surprised the Brora does not contain a single mention of Rob Wilson who was Mr Brora.
