Hi thought I would chuck a quick post up here to say hi. As my first post was in the charity auction it might be a bit rude not to introduce myself. I'm Dan, relatively new to fishing for salmon on the fly, but looking through this forum has certainly given me a wealth of info. I do my fishing on the Aberdeen association waters, but hoping to get on to the dee if anyone can suggest a beat the would be a good place for a relative beginner that would be great. Cheers, Dan

New to fly fishing. Living in Yorkshire, but originally from Edinburgh. Have 3 weeks fishing on the River Dean (BC) under my belt, so still a lot to learn. I am married to Mike (Speyducer), so have a good teacher...My goals for next year is to master changing my own flies, hooks etc without the help of the other half.

Shirl... welcome to the forum and best of luck with the 'goals' for next year. I'm sure it'll be more like fly tying and step by steps that you'll be doing.
