Fortunately no snow at the level of the Football Pitch ..... but fresh snow pounding down on all the hills around Ashland yesterday. Redefined the word COLD running around in short pants.

Had this for the past two years in late March on the lower Spey, can be really depressing when over half your week is lost to high water. Booked late April this year to try and avoid the big snow melts, oh well.

Anyone know what the spey's like the now, weather wise and how it'll be looking for tomorrow? Not up fishing, just seeing Ian Gordon and having a cast with a few rods so no need for water height, etc. Cheers Ryan

The weather this morning was heavy sleet that turned to snow at Stonehaven.
So far in Aberdeen it has been raining on and off. Both the Esk rivers were up and coloured when i zipped over them.
Cheers

Thanks Hornet, looks like there is a decent top up going on the ski reports but sleety stuff on lower ground.
The webcam has been a bit blurred out the last couple of days though

We are keeping the West Wall closed at the moment. The West Wall and Gully need to be assessed for avalanche risk. Bowl is unpisted and is in fantastis condition - best for years. M2 is now open - full width to the bottom of the Daylodge piste. Beautiful snow conditions all over the mountain including the lower slopes. M1 is fantastic with powder snow. White Lady has lots of fresh snow and is good down to the bottom of the Elephant fence, chopped up below that, and holes at the burn. Coire Cas is as good as it gets for intermediates.

Just flew over the North Sea - Aberdeen to Stavanger. Very rough flight - space mountain stuff - nearly did loop-the-loop etc etc
Snow showers and it is heading your way.
Snow on the ground in Stavanger. Wife is wearing an extra pair of drawers (total of 3 now ;D)
