A great evenings fishing there. Is that a Hover/Intermediate or a S1/S2 shooting head you are using and did you find you had to get down to these large fish, or were they willing to come up to the fly?

Good fishing Damian. Thought this might be helpful for future reference.
"Sweet home Alabama Where the skies are so blue Sweet Home Alabama Lord, I'm coming home to you"
Noticed you were struggling ;D

Thanks Graham I was using a hover / int 9/10 . The fish in the Yokanga do come to the surface no problem but the water is so fast on lilyok (home pool) it is good to get down a little bit . Next year i plan to throw a float sink 5 or a sink2/3 down it just to see what happens DEE

Possibly because it rolls off the tongue slighly easier than one of my favourite fishing 'chants' - The Volga Boat Song - Red Army version. Sincere apologies for going slightly 'off topic'. Yo, heave ho! Yo, heave ho! Once more, once again, still once more Yo, heave ho! Yo, heave ho! Once more, once again, still once more Now we fell the stout birch tree, Now we pull hard: one, two, three. Ay-da, da, ay-da! Ay-da, da, ay-da! Now we fell the stout birch tree As the barges float along, To the sun we sing our song. Ay-da, da, ay-da! Ay-da, da, ay-da! To the sun we sing our song. Nice
