Jan Erik will be at the Sportfish show at Reading tomorrow demonstrating shooting heads. Other big names demonstrating include:-
Gawesworth MacKenzie Drury Gordon and Fairgrieve
The event is free and looks like a decent day out

A great site, hours of reading. The flies look very interesting, lots of inspiration for revamping the tired looking fly box.

As you say, BC, a very good site...
& his flies are not unlike those by Frodin....very nice, but simpler in materials choice - my kinda tyer!

I hope it's okay to dredge up an old thread. Granbo has tons of good info on shooting heads, leaders, and flies; another good site is hooked4life. Between these two, I've learned most of what I know about shooting heads. Between the two of them, they cover pretty much everything. Highly recommended.
