Best wishes for your birthday tweedsider - wonder what you will get from salmonking ...... hard cash ?, a day on the river, socks ..... a bag of 'grannie sookers' perhaps (industrial sweetie of yesteryear) or simply his excellent company !! Have a guid day - mind now !! best regards STip

Happy birthday Alan, have a great day. Like fine wines, salmon anglers get better as they get older.

Have a great day Alan, and just think, one of these seasons (hopefully MANY more to come), you will be able to gubb SK on the fishing stakes, and depose (albeit temporarily) the 'young pretender' !! ;D ;D ;D [not that SK 'pretends' anything - still catches all 'em fuishies!!] Hopefully SK will ease up on you in your more senior years!! Mike

Happy Birthday Andy and Ross - years apart some may say, but a similar love of Salmon Fishing............. ;D
One thing is certain, Andy will be celebrating in a grander style than poor Ross. Enjoy the view tonight Ross...... ;D

I can confirm after i left him on Friday night that the said Mr Tip celebrated his birthday with a wee over nighter resulting in two fine sea troots. We met up again on Saturday night at Kinnaber for further thrashing of the watter. No fish seen or hooked but plenty of laughter ;D. PS, No sign of a cake or cakes Cheers Hornet
