Keeping the best pool to himself again. ;D Graham, the March pool had a steep snow covered bank, and it was really slippery and dangerous to fish. I felt that I had to take the responsibility myself. Yo Willie! Loved the build up of snow under your felt bottom waders. One and only time you'll 'be as tall as me.' God I hate that when it happens ...... walk around and it's 'ice on ice.'

[/img]
Aye, it's a special pool alright. Just gets better and better as you get into the tail end imo. I said to Alan when I came out - "I feel like I have failed miserably" !

Nice pictures James. You are very brave to be fishing in that weather and I am filled with admiration for your courage and dedication to the sport. I failed miserably in this regard and I am ashamed to say that I did not even think about casting a fly over Easter. Instead I decided to take my boys skiing. I did however muster the courage to get into an open air hot tub with several Norwegian lassies in a hotel up in the mountains for Easter. Mrs Salmo has forbidden me publishing photos of the hot tub... salmo
