" I have seen a stoned wallaby but I don't know about them making crop circles. The one I saw was slurring his words and asking me for a dollar as he was trying to get the boat to see his brother in New Zealand - he looked in no mood to be formulating a series of complex agricultural design patterns. "

It's the 3 cattle being "washed upstream" that I found amusing.

Maybe the cows had entered the river to surf the incoming tidal wave.
On the subject of cows
I was fishing the ayr one day in a pool with a cliff on the other side about 30ft high. Some cows were grazing in the field at the top of the cliff but one had strayed towards the cliff and was munching on some long grass at the cliff edge. All of a sudden there was a rumble and some rocks landed in the water followed shortly by the cow. Boom as it landed in about a foot of water. After a couple of minutes while me and my fishing buddy contemplated on what action we should take, the cow stumbled to it's feet and proceeded to walk downstream to a tree which had landed in the water and calmly started munching on it's nice green leaves. It did so for about 5 minutes then walked further downstream onto the bank at a lower level and made its way back up into the field.
It was as if it had done it before. Maybe it was the quickest route to the tree.
Cows are dumb. Or are they?
