Out for a walk around New Lanark today to blow the cobwebs from us seeing the sun was out. Here is a few pictures or the village for those that haven't been there. Its a worthwhile visit and has restaurant, working wollen mill and a Edinburgh Woolen Mill shop for all your bright green/marron thin fleeces plus many other old traditional attractions. Looking down to the village from one of the walkways down to it. Another walk towards the main building, one of which is now a hotel. The falls of Clyde with plenty of water going over them. Looking down stream from the falls. Here is the main bumf on the Village: www.newlanark.org/

Nice pictures Kenny but are you sure that is the Falls of Clyde? I use the name losely Brian they are mentioned as the falls of Clyde in the village, but the one I pictured, is called Dundaff Linn. Part of three falls one after another near to the village. The other two are Corra Linn and Bonnington Linn. Kenny

Nice wee thread for a Sunday Kenny. Considering 'social inclusion' features highly on my personal agenda, it's a place I have yet to visit. Is it like a weegie version of Tobermory ?

The falls of Clyde with plenty of water going over them. Thanks for posting the pics Kenny, they bring back fond memories. I worked there for a while when training to become a forrester. Our Bothy as I called it was to the left in the pic. Those were the days ;D
