I suppose it takes a lot of experience Col......................picking out a well fed shark rather than a hungry one. ;D
Looking forward to seeing more of your vids this season.

Yes a very nice surprise that was....first ever Feb fish.
As for the shark's, this was the best i could do....probably the worst dive i have done to date, the water clarity was very poor and the shark's incredibly shy.

Col... well done on getting off the mark in Feb. (Re the great white, my little nephew came face to face with one just a short way out from a beach off Sydney, while making his way out to do a bit of 'spearing'. The GW could easily of had him, as only about 10 feet away, (eye to eye) but it just went past him. This was a beach we took our kids to back in 2000 and was told it was quite safe and shallow.
Must of been great doing the dive.

Thank's Eric ..and right back at you for your Helmsdale fish.
Yes the Great White is a very misunderstood animal...i was talking to a surfer in South Africa who used the Go pro on his wrists, whilst paddling out to catch a wave his camera picked up a Great White yards away from him...he never knew it was there until he played the film back.. ;D
I bet your nephew got a fright...?....still that encounter will live with him for ever.

Good bit of advice I heard years ago.....A Shark will only attack you if you're wet!
