No, but I was spinning for bass yesterday evening and i had a pull from a small bird which was swimming and diving under after the baitfish.

Not had a duck salmo,
But as of yesterday I have fished this year with five fishers who have on each day taken a "dook" ie a swim. Still, I maintain this is not because I am the common denominator.

Salmo's avatar looks like it was on a brown bear grizzly flamethrower. M

Not this year, but I did hook a duck a few years back on my local reservoir. The heather flies were hatching in droves and unfortunately for the duck ( and countless trout I might add) my imitation was presented in such a way it could not resist!!! The duck took the fly from the surface cleanly in the gob. I done nothing as I expected it to expelled, but no. It was firmly hooked and took half an hour to land! Pain in the arse really, good fishing time wasted.... But what a fight/flight!!
