Andy will the main Cortachy fishing hut have been affected with these floods? I'm fairly certain the Downiepark hut at The Drain would have had a few inches of water going through it. I dont think The Meetings Hut will have suffered due to it's height off the ground but the carparking area would have been well covered. What effect all of this has had on the pool itself s anyone's guess - might be better !! The hut at Ben Hoose would have been unaffected as most of the water would have gone towards the low lying fields on the opposite bank. The 'lairds hut' at The Corner Pool may very well have been affected by any 'leakage' from the Graveyard travelling across the haugh. I'll try to take a wander down there at some point to see what's what. Good to see rivers starting to resemble river's again, and not loch's. It will be interesting to see if the gravel at the Meetings has shifted Andy.

The middle and tail sections had changed considerably last season John - for the better in my opinion. As you say, interesting to see what these recent spates have done. I suspect there will be a few changes on some of the Downiepark and Cortachy pools.
