Quite a few rivers are getting a lift, I hope to be on the Dee next week, let us know how you are doing on your patch, it will give us a clue where to go and what flies are doing the business.

I think a lift is badly needed and hopefully will freshen up the rivers with new stock. I was on the Southie last week in near perfect conditions for the seatrout and not a splash or pull was had. Seatrout I know don’t need a spate to run, but hoping this rise brings them up. Either very late or just not there this year in any numbers.

The Dee is rising, so I will have to be patient, it was fishing well before this rain, I hope it continues with some new fish in an obliging mood.
