Hopefully, this is fairly timely . I'm not going to do mine just yet as it'll involve a fair bit of key board bashing and I'm not in that mood , but if anyone else is in the mood to kick off..............................., take it away Jose.

Stopped in on Stp for an evenings fishing on the River South Esk.
After getting guided on various pools it was basically three casts and three fish. 12lb Salmon, 10lb Salmon and a 2lb Sea Trout.
Non stop laughter and battling fish on the SGH was just superb, the ringing of go easy, go easy min is still present ;D.
This was followed up by another visit and another 12lb Salmon.
Cheers

I have had too many good days this year to pick one out on three different occasions i scored four fish, with numerous three's,,,three fish from different occasions stick in my mind,,,
Fishing a floater and polyleader,,id lost concentration when a fish nipped my fly,,just saw the boil, felt a pluck,,,rolled a ciggie and re cast,,,saw the fish come and take the flee,a nice 7lbr,,my second of the season.
Fishing down my favorite run,,saw fish head n tail,,made my cast and just knew id hook him,,why,,id had three already and lost several.
Fishing association water ,,with the local fishmonger in attendance,,i briefly connect with a nice fish,,a comment from F M,,ill have that one tmorro,,,he did not as i rested the pool for an hour, came back and caught the fish,,and released it over the cill and into the long deep pool above.

Started with an 8 pounder returned , lost a couple got another then a magic half hour of hook and play three grilse one after the other. The best part was texting SK further upstream, that's another, that's, another that's another until the man himself came astomping round the corner declaring he could not get fishing for answering text messages. Pure magic. Tweedsider

The salmon Neptune's brother in law helped me land. 12lbs, packed up and went home - couldn't have got any better. An hour's fishing including 20 mins to get it in. Happy days. Watching Neptune catch his first grilse. Perfect.

My best day is tomorrow, or Thursday maybe, the reason is that I'll be catching a 40-plus fish of a lifetime and I can still be dreaming about it.
Tweed is not finished yet.
