I was fishing an early spring weekend with a well known angler and platform demonstrator who will remain nameless for now . We were in the fishing hut having a bit of pre fishing banter when in walked our hero looking very dapper in his new waders complete with fly for the ageing angler with prostate problems. A few jokes were cracked and the wisdom of waders with zips was questioned. The butt of jokes quickly switched and we paired up and went off fishing. After an uneventful morning a fine lunch was had and a beer or two drunk we set off for an afternoons fishing. Not long after lunch the inevitable effect of beer and cold water had it's effect and our hero sets off out of the pool for a pee, few remarks were passed and our hero remarks hoew easy it is to pee in these fabulous new inventions and was wondering how he had ever managed without them eager to resume fishing he waded back in where he had left. Very quickly a stream of expletived drifted downstream from our hero who in his haste to resume fishing had forgotten to zip back up and had the pleasure of ice cold river water bathing his recently relieved nether regions.

Probably not the first time, and certainly not the last time that will happen. ;D
Moral - anglers with short term memory problems shouldn't buy zipped waders!
