We have decided to launch a blogspot for our TWCP survey work this summer, when we will have two people out with cameras most days. We have this great piece of footage to launch the site. Please check this out. You will need your sound on to hear the otters squeaking to one another: taywesterncatchments.blogspot.com/What would rather have happen you on a day's fishing?? a 20 lb salmon or THIS!! ;D ;D These are real live Scottish otters. Nelly is trying not to move so he does'nt scare them. What could be better, having a fag next to the river on a lovely sunny winter day, with these two running around at your feet. Do have a good look through the rest of the pictures and videos, which will give you a good feel for Glen Lyon and Glen Dochart. And please save to "Your Favourites", and pass on a link to your friends. Regards, VC

Lovely clip Vic. I see my fair share of otters in N Wales, they usually come swimming through the tail of my favourite pool at dusk, just as I'm getting ready to start sea trout fishing. I once had the rare pleasure of seeing 2 otters together, again at dusk. They seemed to be playing about, diving & surfacing in the tail of a pool, and chasing each other. I actually saw my first mink a few weeks ago - the blighter was swimming across the river with a 6" trout or parr in its mouth.
