Anybody guess this wee river??,,mainly sea trout,,and can have some fantastic runs when the water is of good order,,and big ones too,,not uncommon are 6 to 8 lbrs,,,,the odd salmon can sneak up here too,,but mainly in the backend.

The Tyne (East Lothian)? Just a guess, I think I heard it was good for sea trout!

Yes correct ,,the river Eye ,,an unsung river,,if it was only given a chance,,the sea trout here used to be phenomenal,,,,Eyemouth bandits soon scuppered the runs though,,,a ridiculous licensed net in Eyemouth bay,,,,and of course the netting by poachers at the mouth of the river,,,having said that,,i have seen some very big sea trout in tidal water waiting for a rise in water,,,the poaching seems to have petered out ,,let's hope it stays that way. Neptune,,,correct Ayton law,,,John,,,,Northumberland,, ,,,Scotland more like,
