Had a 2' rise of water on the Spey today, which should 'kittle up' a few of the resident fish. I have a one day free next week (Monday) for 1 rod. Bit short notice I'm afraid but only had it confirmed today. Perfect opportunity for a novice or old stager - all welcome as long as they bring their fly rod and bottle !

Hello everyone and a warm welcome, Would you well believe it. I left the fishing hut for a wander and came back and there were 30 people in there. The kettle is now empty and the fires almost out because you have been blethering. Back to normal I hope. If any of you show up at the hut and there is no-one in, the key is in the gutter to the right above the door, or under the stone behind the step. Feel free to come in and share your thoughts. It is great to see so many familiar names but I also want to welcome any newcomers and guests and ask everyone to take the extra time to explain the basics. There is no such thing as a daft question and none of us would be fishers if we had not asked the odd question when we were starting out. I will be in touch on some basic rules and procedures later after I have had a few evening casts. salmo

Good evening Gents, I too followed the link from the old SFF.
Looking forward to getting back to the business in hand. And having a good craic too.

Not at all QnQ, just interested why.
I'm at the QnQ stage with sea trout, still chasing that elusive 10lb+ fish.
