Updated
I know it's a long way off, but I have a few ( 1 Rod ) days available next Spring at a pretty reasonable cost of £20 per day. Ideal for those who rarely get the opportunity to fish on a private beat.
The dates in February are 12,19,20,26,27. March fishing (2 weeks) has now unfortunately been let on a weekly basis.
For details of the beat just have a look on the web link below.
You may or may not catch a fish but you will be well looked after, and its a great deal for any prospective beginner to get free instruction on a private beat.

Dear Speyghillie
I see you have the basis of a forum on your web site. Is that to be a web site purely for Ghillies on the Spey, with others having a viewing option?...Or is it something you are just thinking about? The concept of a site purely containing contributions from Ghillies sounds interesting.

Hi Fruity,
My web-site was a total surprise to me and was designed by a friend, who has added it to his professional portfolio. It's mainly just to keep my guests informed with the aid of weekly reports on our beat and the forum in a new concept and will be very low key. One thing though, all contributers will be identified by their correct name so we'll see what happens. Don't expect much though, mainly friends which suits me perfectly as this forum seems just about right.

As last year, I have taken a half rod for the month of September as a means of introducing friends/forum members to the Kinermony beat of the Spey. I have the Mon,Tue & Wed's and have listed available dates below. I have to clearly state that the vast majority of fish in September are coloured and that there is a 'Fair' chance that they will not be all that easy to catch either................... BUT, it's not all doom and gloom, you will be fishing in good company and if your casting is a bit ropey, I'm sure we'll get it sorted....... My feeling is that this in an ideal opportunity for someone with limited opportunity of fishing private water to have a go and if you wish to bring a friend and share the rod, then that's fine by me and you will both be allowed to carry on after 5pm when the other 2 guests leave. I will be away in Wales fishing an International Match during the first week of September but my predecessor will be deputising and he's an absolute gent. Sep 2,3,16,17,24,29 Tight Lines Jock Royan
