Looks like Gannochy Gorge on the Burn beat of the North Esk as my 1st guess or else Nith Linns on the Drumlanrig beat on the River Nith as my 2nd guess.

dunkeld... Blairgowrie and the River Ericht. Well done it is the Ericht at Blairgowrie. (Clyde indeed Mr Gunn ) The pool is known as "the leap" and it used to get poached alot in the past. This is a true story regarding those pot holes on the island. I used to have a static caravan in Blair (as its known locally I believe) and had the Aunt and Uncle come stay with us for a weekend, so as you do, showed him the river on the Saturday. We jumped across to the island watching the salmon jump just a few feet from us, when one, and gods my witness, jumped onto the island and more or less into the larger pot hole that can be seen in the picture. Again as you do!! I sort of jumped onto it and grabbed it, sticking my thumb down its mouth with a view to breaking its neck, thinking it would do us all for Sundays dinner. When the teeth raked my thumb and it some how manged to wriggle free and back down into the water, with blood dripping from my poor thumb. Just moments later the wee Green minivan drove up on the top road and the baliffs asked what we were doing etc. Lucky escape ;D That of course was in my younger days and would I do the same thing now! of course I wouldn't. ;D

Is that Dulsie Bridge on the Findhorn? Looks like it, for a bonus point who built it and when?

Is that Dulsie Bridge on the Findhorn? Tut, I said to myself that you would get this one easily. I think you were there last year? Yes it is and used to fish it a lot in my "younger" days for trout. Especially above the bridge on the slight corner where there was a lovely pool seemingly full of troot.

Is that Dulsie Bridge on the Findhorn? Looks like it, for a bonus point who built it and when? Major William Caulfield in the 1750's. But what type of granite was it built and at what cost ? TC
