Could members in one sentence only, or one word, explain their forum name.
Tweedcast - a play on Speycast that tells my location.

Shortened version of Silver Stoats Tail - over the years, my most productive fly for Seatrout and Salmon and also one of the simplest and quickest to tie.

Nicknamed thus, by a member of Loop's staff after I developed a rather painfull swollen thumb that they claimed was caused by casting a rod they considered far too stiff ;D.

ROBBIETaken from Ancient Mongolian, and meaning " Man who fishes much better than Old Fart Sinkingtippy" Well that was what I was told anyway Robbie - derivative of geezer. See wide or Del boy. Excellent thread Tweedcast. Might have been titled "Explain your name's" for some fellas here or hereabouts. Sinking Tip ? - my least favourite line (old style). Tried a few others at 'sign up' but the likes of "Salmonking", "Baggy Minnin" and "Hornet" (the French pronunciation) had already been taken. Simple as that. Nothing to do with the lack of ability to maintain a bricker. STip

Storlaks was the first word I learned (and remembered) on my premier trip to Norway. It's a shame I've not lived up to it
