HI have just been handed down a rod from my Dad and i was woundering what it is for. It is a Greys of Alnwick Glen Aln #10 14ft any information would help.

It is a salmon fly rod probably built in the late 1980's, from when Greys were an independent company before they were taken over by Hardy's. They tended to name their rods after the local rivers and lakes/reservoirs, a popular model at the time was the Keilder.
