I have met a few. Cream of the crop by about a zillion miles however is our very own Andy Sinkingtip. He played out of his skin for all of party last week. We all loved him to death. A public thank you seems far more fitting than a private one since his willingness to freely share some of his vast knowledge and experience without any conditions should be put in the public domain.
Thank you once again Andy.

Thanks guys. You were all a delight to fish with. The 7 fish your crew landed really didn't do party justice. If Carlsberg made fishing parties .............
Today was special. I had a father and son out who were TOTAL novices. I spent most of the morning trying to get them casting - not easy in a swirling wind. Anyhow, the son was rewarded with a lovely clean fish of around 9lbs from Mike's Run just before lunch. Deep joy.
Hope the ribs are healing.

I've just heard that my novice landed another fish last night from Guay. Bear in mind that this was a chap who had never picked up a DH rod before and, initially, was using it to overhead cast (sort of) but single handed !!
Braw !
