I've done very little worming and none of it at night but I did once speak to a chap who claimed to be an expert at this on the Hants Avon. He said the most important thing was to have lots of traces tied up ready and a quick release swivel on the end of the mainline. Every time you hook an eel you simply unclip the trace and drop it, along with the still hooked eel, into a sack and sort out the ensuing mess in the morning Clip on a fresh trace chuck it back in and hope the next one insn't another eel, but it will be! Good luck Andy
