I'm not suggesting for one moment that members out there are as old as myself & S'Tip, but with autumn drawing to a close, the fishing rods and tackle being lovingly caressed for the last time before spring again (at least for those who don't go Grayling fishing in the middle of winter), and anglers generally putting their feet up, in front of a roaring fire, with a wee dram perhaps, and reflecting on the past season gone, and maybe hopes for the next season to come, bringing out the photies of one's previous catches & fine streams visited you will no doubt come across the odd pictures of years past when you were still a loon, yet had already been bitten by the fishing bug.
Anyone got the nerve to post those old photies of yerself as a budding fishermen, when men were men, boys were a bl***dy nuisance, but girls were getting interesting!

I'll start it off then! Kenya 1962! Silver Sands camp, Mombasa. This was the only one of the 4 tuna caught by my dad that I could lift. You can see the tails of the other 3 on the step. Mike

John - speaking as someone who has been involved in fashion knitwear (worked for Neil's of Langholm for a while) I really feel that congratulations are in order for sporting such a splendid variant on the V neck Fair Isle jersey. Congratulations also for passing your 11 plus - I, unfortunately, realised the importance of academic qualifications rather later in life eventually graduating from Skye High and Oban University. Nice seatrout BTW. best regards STip

Mike - whilst I am in a congratulatory mood can I just say that is one splendid head of hair you have on you - made Mrs Tip go week at the knees to the point that she is presently trying to superimpose my coupon on your pic via Photoshop.
BTW - were you ever a member of The Dave Clark 5 ? Your aye STip
