This is an easy one, but I suppose only if you have been there. Those who have fished on this famous salmon and sea trout loch are not allowed to answer! Builnacraig

If you're not allowing those who have been there to answer, despite the possibility they may have forgotten the features, then those who haven't been there haven't much of a chance - just guessing really. I haven't been there, and yes, I huvnae a clue! Mike

A favourite corner in a cracking loch!
Tempted to spoil the fun but Builnacraig would go in a huff.

I'm barred from taking part cos I've had the pleasure of fishing it quite a few times! Anyway, here's another view of the same loch and another picture taken from further down the valley looking back up the river and loch system.

Well done Graham, Ulladale it is. It is such an imposing place with the big overhanging cliff overlooking the loch.
Conwyrod name nearly every salmon loch in Lewis and Harris but to no avail!
I don't have time at the moment but I will post some more pictures of Ulladale when I get a chance.
Nice pictures Griais, I am sure that the back of that head is familiar!

;D Great looking place - have to admit I found the FishHebrides site useful for this.

Yeah, Ulladale's a magical place. I've never fished it yet when the wind was coming from just the one direction. It's always blowing hard from at least four different points of the compass.
The last time I was there spindrifts whipped across the loch from every direction and made casting a real hazard.
A few years back I fished the rivermouth which enters the loch near the hut during a big spate and the salmon and sea trout were lying thick along the shore, some in just a few inches of water. The scent of the spawning burn had obviously sent them into a tizzy.
I've caught plenty of sea trout from Ulladale but an Ulladale salmon still eludes me - though I lost one last season.
Great walk out but an absolute killer on the way back up Glen Ulladale. The roar of the stags reverberating around the valley at the back-end makes it feel like prehistoric times.
