Cracking pictures there Malcolm. It is not often you see that much grue on the Spey nowadays. I noticed that the Dee was also thick with grue this week when travelling into work, it always seems to be more prone to this. Hopefully it has all shifted before the season opens and we dont get a repeat of early February 2006 when quite a few days were lost to grue on the Dee.

Brrrrrrrr - even the wee dog looks fed up. No just charging back to see why I had stopped. Today was quite mild, a balmy -3 it has been as low as -7 the last few mornings.

Reassuring to see evidence of a proper winter up your way, as said nice pics, you could go into the Christmas card business.

Dan, If we get a hard winter then we could be adopting last years fishing tactics when we are on the Southie Cheers Hornet Question is, will they get enough of a tan, or get pished before their island life is brought to a sinking end?? Mike
