A good push of water going through there Malcolm!
How close would the level be to Sam's house?

How close would the level be to Sam's house? Sam's house will be fine as it is higher than the Aberlour side, the river will always push across into the Alice Littler park.

Never mind Sam's house, what about the dog? Surely it is more important than Sam's house

Brilliant photos there Malcolm Thanks for taking the time to do this, its much appreciated. Duffer looks like he had a good day as well,it amazing the similarity between pets and their owners ;D Duffer will be as Grey as this when he grows up but the resmblance is uncanny "Henrik Supertim Weegie" See the dug looks nothing like the pair loon On a more serious not,the same applies to the Spey regarding an insurance policy against winter floods i.e between spawning and Spring. They will need the hatchery trays to be full as this will ruin the spawning redds,as you have saw with your own eyes on some of the pools that have been photographed thousands of tons of gravel piled up when the flooding subsides. The only things that benefits from this are the Goosanders James Chalmers

It's starting to drop now, Graham. Here's on for Speyghillie, Jock's office. Or who stole the Big Pig? I was hoping for a wee bit more water Malcolm as there is a mighty fine hut below the Carron Bridge (Right Bank.. that I was hoping would drift past. Maybe one day................ ;D
