Time for another name the river I reckon. Any ideas on this one? Perfect water conditions that day and I was disappointed to get only one take (in this very spot) and to land only one fresh grilse. Builnacraig

Well done Hornet. The first two guesses had it totally surrounded! The Girvan had a very good season last year. It is well worth a visit when there is water. It is quite an accessible river and not expensive. Builnacraig

It can be a very good river at the right time.I used to fish it along with the River some years ago now.Was just a case of getting a phone call from a friend of mine who lived there,to let me know it was just right after a Spate, and I would travel over from East Kilbride. Had many a good day.
Bill.
