Nice try Malcolm but, again, no. Now remember folks, this is a quality bag 'o nails containing a selection of round, oval and lost heads, panel pins, tacks and masonry. Infact, although I have yet to check, there might even be a few corrugated fasteners in there. Here's an upstream view from the tail of the uppermost pool.

Sorry Graham - a good shout but no.
Here's a clue. The pool shown in the upstream photie is reckoned to be the last noteworthy deep hole (traveling in an upstream manner) in this river - apart from an incredibly deep hole at the very top of the river which is approx 10 miles or so upstream.
